Our mission is to create partnerships between schools and businesses to inspire leaders and transform futures

About Us

Inspiration for All is a not-for-profit that seeks to tackle entrenched inequality in society, classrooms and workplaces by investing in leadership.

Founded by two former teachers with over 60 years combined experience in business and schools, we believe that the best way to achieve change at scale is to start at the top. That’s why we work with leaders of institutions who have the position to influence outcomes for thousands of young people from lower-income families.

Inspiration for All’s programme matches leaders in partnership. By bringing together senior leaders from business and education and giving them space to learn from each other, we build skills, increase engagement and radically improve outcomes and opportunities for under-served young people.

We have made it our mission to help transform the quality and stability of leadership in schools serving disadvantaged students.

It was our shared purpose and our combined experience of over 60 years in education and business, that inspired us to set up the social enterprise, Inspiration For All and to develop our Inspiring Partnerships programme. We know how effective the programme can be for inspiring and supporting leaders in challenging schools and also the value partnering with business leaders can bring.

Our aim is to work with senior leaders in 1000 challenging schools over 3 years to empower them as leaders, improving outcomes for young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

..the external perspective brought by the business leader as it brought them a fresh perspective from someone outside of education with extensive knowledge and experience of leadership, with solutions focused feedback who would pose challenging questions which could help shape and guide their thinking.

Sarah Caton

Sarah Caton

Chief Executive Officer, Inspiration For All

Originally a secondary school maths teacher, Sarah then worked in educational publishing businesses for over 20 years. As a senior leader in the business world, Sarah was given extensive leadership training and was a regular mentor on the 30% Club programme designed to encourage more women on boards. In her most recent role she led on defining and measuring impact on learning. Observing teaching in schools around the world, she realised that leadership is the key factor affecting outcomes for learners, something that was backed up by her experience as a Chair of Governors in a London school. This led her to set up the Inspiring Partnerships  programme to nurture leadership capacity and skills.
